SHAH ALAM: More Muslim couples registered to legalise their marriages at the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) in 2016 compared to the year before.
"This indicates there are many marriages in contradiction of the Selangor Family Law Enactment 2003 taking place here," Jais director Datuk Haris Kasim said.
