KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam has stepped into the “big war” between doctors and third party administrators (TPAs) by warning the latter to make sure their actions comply with the law and medical ethics.
He added that the dealings that TPAs - also known as managed care organisations (MCOs) - make with employers must not go against regulations and professional standards.
