Govt funds benefitted 10,000 Hindus, says professor

GOVERNMENT allocations for religious activities and classes have benefitted more than 10,000 Hindus, said Socioeconomic Development of Indian Community (Sedic) special unit director Prof Datuk Dr N. S. Rajendran, according to Malaysia Namban.

Prof Rajendran had apparently taken exception to the statement of Malaysia Hindu Sangam President Datuk R. S. Mohan Shan, who claimed that the NGO did not receive any funds from the Government for religious activities.
