GEORGE TOWN: The National Water Services Commission (SPAN) has advised the Penang state government to carry out a public consultation with regard to increasing the water consumption surcharge rate in the state by 100%.
SPAN chairman Datuk Liang Teck Meng said it was important to get feedback from the public on the issue.
