KOTA KINABALU: A comprehensive overhaul of the drainage system in Ranau is underway to avert flooding at the town on the foothills of Mount Kinabalu.
Ranau district officer Faimin Kamin said the Public Works Department, Drainage and Irrigation Department and district council engineers would draw up a masterplan to improve the drainage in the town which was hit by flash floods on July 9 and 11.
