GEORGE TOWN: Penang Gerakan is questioning the shortfall in the supply of low-cost (also known as Type A) housing in the state versus the demand.
Its publicity bureau chief Ooi Zhi Yi said there was a shortage of planned low-cost housing units of up to RM42,000 each but an excess of affordable housing (classed as Type C) of up to RM300,000 per unit.
