Dead toddler warded four times

KOTA ISKANDAR: The 21-month-old boy who died in Batu Pahat, allegedly from abuse, was admitted four times between April and July this year to Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital, said State Women and Family Affairs Committee chairman Asiah Md Ariff.

Prior to his death, the hospital’s management alerted the Welfare Depart­ment because it was concerned that his 14-year-old brother was the primary caregiver at the hospital.
