KUCHING: The Sarawak government has declared Kampung Saroban in Serian a rabies-infected area after a five-year-old child, hospitalised last week, was confirmed to have rabies.

The order was made by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas (pic), who is also the state Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Minister, under the Veterinary Public Health Ordinance.
