Navy group to monitor Littoral Mission Ships project in China


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Navy will be sending 12 men and nine officers from the Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd to Wuhan, China, to monitor the construction of the Littoral Mission Ships (LMS).

Navy chief Admiral Tan Sri Ahmad Kamarulzaman Ahmad Badaruddin said the move was part of the procurement agreement signed between the Malaysian Government, Boustead Naval Shipyard and China Shipbuilding and Offshore International Co Ltd for the joint construction of four LMS for Malaysia.
