The mortar shell that was unearthed during road works in Alor Gajah, Melaka
MELAKA: Road workers unearthed a mortar shell suspected to be from World War II in Kampung Belimbing Dalam in Alor Gajah on Monday.
A bomb disposal squad from state police headquarters rushed to the site at 2.30pm after an excavator driver had pulled out the device while clearing the road.
