KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow was slow-moving on several major highways on Tuesday afternoon due to the high volume of vehicles, and highway authorities have said that the situation is expected to last until late evening.

A PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman said traffic flow was slow between Pendang and Sungai Petani in Kedah, between Permatang Pauh and Perai in Penang, and between Bukit Merah and Taiping as well as up to the Menora Tunnel in Perak.
