Brothers on bike killed in crash

KOTA KINABALU: Two brothers died after their motorcycle apparently crashed into a 4WD while overtaking three other vehicles along the Sandakan-Beluran road some 210km from here.

Abdurasid Asad Kassin, 25, and Abdurazim Asad Kassin, 17, were said to be heading towards Beluran from Bukat Garam at about 4pm on Sunday.

Sandakan police chief Asst Comm Mohd Azhar Hamin said according to the 4WD driver, the victims veered into his lane after losing control of their bike while overtaking three vehicles.

The case is being investigated under the Road Transport Act for causing death by dangerous or reckless driving.
