Perak police chief: Do not play with bamboo cannons

IPOH: Perak police have advised people not to play with bamboo cannons during Hari Raya Aidilfitri as it can be not only illegal but also dangerous.

Perak police chief Comm Datuk Hasnan Hassan said certain districts in the state still practice the firing of bamboo cannons and many do not realise that it is an offence under the Arms Act 1960.
