MCA: Gazetting of 290 roads will add to parking fee burden

GEORGE TOWN: The move to gazette 290 more roads where Penang Island City Council (MBPP) will charge parking fees will burden the people, said Tanjung MCA Youth chief Lim Swee Bok.

He said the move added to the pile of rising government-related charges from assessment fees and quit rent to the monthly parking rate, increased water tariff and water conservation surcharge.
