Night market trader gets five years jail for robbing Uber driver

KUALA LUMPUR: A 31-year-old night market trader was sentenced to five years in jail and a stroke of the cane by the Sessions Court here for robbing an Uber driver.

Ahmad Yushup Masrial pleaded guilty to robbing 37-year-old Mohd Almizi Muhammad at Jalan Semarak, at 4.30pm on Nov 20 last year.
