KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian security forces are stepping up their intelligence gathering capabilities in Sabah’s east coast as part of preventive measures in the wake of the insurgency in Marawi City in southern Philippines.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said security forces are also increasing their preparedness and surveillance of strategic areas in the east coast.
