500 take part in final-leg torch run

KUCHING: Some 500 runners braved the evening drizzle to complete Sarawak’s final-leg torch run in the lead-up to the 29th SEA Games and 9th Asean Para Games.

Sarawak Youth and Sports Assistant Minister Snowdan Lawan kicked off the run in the heart of the city from the state legislative assembly and carried the torch across Sungai Sarawak to the Kuching Waterfront.
