No Raya aid for errant civil servants in Penang

GEORGE TOWN: Penang civil servants who had disciplinary action taken against them between Jan 1 to June 15 will not get the special financial aid for Hari Raya Aidilfitri from the state government this year.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said state civil servants whose services were terminated in view of public interest before or on June 15 will also not receive the payout, which will be made on June 20.
