GEORGE TOWN: Residents from Kampung Binjai to Kampung Seronok, Bayan Lepas, had no tap water for about 10 hours after a pipe was damaged by Public Works Department (PWD) contractors.
The 600mm mild steel pipeline delivering water to these areas was damaged at around 2pm yesterday and was scheduled to be fixed at 12.30am today.
