Court of Appeal upholds 16 convictions linked to Lahad Datu incursion

PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has upheld the sentences of 16 people involved in the Lahad Datu intrusion after they withdrew their appeals.

Court of Appeal judge Justice Mohd Zawawi Salleh who chaired the three-man panel, struck out their appeal and affirmed the decision of Kota Kinabalu High Court judge Justice Stephen Chung's against the jail sentence and conviction.
