M’sia confident climate pact won’t derail without US

ALOR SETAR: Malaysia is confident that the Paris Climate Agreement will not fail because China and the European Union can take over the role played by the United States, which has declared its withdrawal from the deal.

National Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said 194 countries have voiced their determination to see the agreement goes through for the sake of their countries on global warming issues.
