KOTA KINABALU: The Higher Education Ministry has yet to make a decision on the new vice chancellor for Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

State Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said social media claims that a non-Sabahan would replace Prof Dr Mohd Harun Abdullah after he retires are merely speculative as there is no decision yet.
