Rayzam Shah Wan Sofian is confident he can upstage Jamras Rittidet of Thailand for the second time in the Malaysian Open.

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has congratulated Rayzam Shah Wan Sofian for shattering the 23-year-old 110m hurdles national record at the Kurpfalz Gala Athletics Championships in Germany on Saturday.

"It's been 23 years since the 110m hurdles record held by Nur Herman Majid, now it is held by Sabah champion Rayzam Shah. Tahniah! #kebanggaanku #Negaraku," said the Prime Minister in a tweet on Sunday.
