5,796 domestic abuse cases reported last year

PETALING JAYA: A total of 5,796 cases of domestic abuse were reported to the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry last year.

This was an increase compared to the 5,014 cases in 2015, minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said, citing police statistics.
