PETALING JAYA: Followers of the Christian faith marked the 100th day of Pastor Raymond Koh’s disappearance with a special prayer and worship service.
Koh’s wife Susanna Liew, son Jonathan and daughters Esther and Elizabeth were joined by about 100 well-wishers at the Damansara Utama Methodist Church Dream Centre yesterday to pray for the missing pastor.
Liew walked into the church dressed entirely in black, as did Elizabeth.
Prior to the service, church-goers were given acknowledgement smiley stickers at the pre-registration private gathering.
The small crowd of sympathisers were in a solemn mood as they trickled into the hall.
Representatives from various foreign and local Christian organisations also attended the service to show their support.
Esther opened the service with a speech, welcoming those who had turned up.
“Thank you for your heartfelt prayers for Raymond Koh," she said.
Meanwhile, Jonathan read the scripture from Psalm 91.
In the highly emotional gathering, members of the congregation also sang and prayed for Koh’s safety.
