Dr Wee: Gambling a serious problem that affects all races

KUALA LUMPUR: Gambling is not a part of Chinese culture, and it is a bad habit that needs to be stopped, says MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

He said it has become a rampant and serious problem as, according to Home Ministry statistics, the two states with the most illegal gambling dens with slot machines are Selangor and Penang.
