Opposition coalition may lose "Harapan" if new party has its way

KUALA LUMPUR: A group of former PKR leaders and members have banded together to form a new party that could lead to Pakatan Harapan removing the word "Harapan" from its name.

Parti Harapan Malaysia's (PHM) pro-tem vice-president Johari Musa said a letter of application to form the party was submitted to the Registrar of Societies (RoS) in December 2015 following elaborate discussions with current and former PKR leaders.
