KUALA LUMPUR: Seri Setia assemblyman Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad’s suit against the Government and a former attorney-general for malicious prosecution will go to trial.
The High Court here dismissed an application by the Government and Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail to strike out the suit, with Justice Ahmad Zaidi Ibrahim ruling that the trial was necessary to determine the issues involved in the civil dispute.
