CAMERON HIGHLANDS: The Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) in Cameron Highlands has denied a viralled report that a house which partially collapsed in Ringlet New Village, here, was due to flash flood.
Cameron Highlands DID engineer Tengku Suhaili Tengku Abas said the house located near Sungai Ringlet collapsed due to house demolition by residents in the area to make way for the flood mitigation project.
