Wife of Turkish national claims she did not know he was deported

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian wife of Turkish national Ihsan Aslan said that she did not know that her husband was deported and only found out the next day when she was called by journalists.

"He thought he would be released soon. He had no idea," Ainnurul Aishah Yunos Ali Maricar told reporters at a press conference on Friday accompanied by her lawyer Noor Svetlana Mohd Noor Noordin.
