Man who held woman hostage in Sabah remanded

TAWAU: The man who held a woman hostage at the Luyang suburban area in Kota Kinabalu after a failed robbery attempt has been remanded for seven days.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said the 26-year-old suspect, a drug addict, will be investigated under the Kidnapping Act and for attempted murder.
