GEORGE TOWN: Devotees did not let an early downpour dampen their spirit in celebrating Wesak Day at the Malaysian Buddhist Association (MBA) in Burmah Road, Penang.

As early as 8.30am Wednesday, a sea of devotees thronged the association premises offering their prayers with lotus candles and joss sticks.
