PETALING JAYA: A property development group has pledged RM50,000 to the scholarship set up in memory of late The Star columnist Soo Ewe Jin.

Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd, the first corporation to pledge funds to the scholarship, was represented by chairman Datuk Mohamad Haslah Mohamad Amin, who handed a mock cheque to The Star during a ceremony on Friday.
