Wanita MCA gives chess contest duo a dressing down


PETALING JAYA: Wanita MCA has condemned the organiser and chief arbiter of a chess championship for forcing a 12-year-old girl to withdraw from the event after deeming her dress “seductive”.

Wanita MCA chief Datuk Heng Seai Kie said the key issue should not be the girl’s outfit, but the mindset of the organiser and chief arbiter, who she claimed had misused their powers.
