KLANG: Seven more students were arrested Friday night for allegedly assembling and participating in a celebration in honour of the outlawed Gang 24 last week.

The seven students, aged between 14 and 17, were picked-up from their homes in various locations here by the South Klang police.

All the students arrested Friday night were from SMK Raja Mahadi.

South Klang district police headquarters confirmed the arrests.

Police took the boys to the Klang magistrate's court and were granted a four-day remand order beginning Saturday.

Lawyer Gerard Lazarus appeared for all seven students.

About 40 students have so far been arrested after a videoclip of the "celebration", held outside SMK Sri Andalas on April 21, went viral.

Most of the students have since been released but police are making more arrests based on information gathered from investigations.

The incident and subsequent arrests have shocked most of the parents who had no inkling of their children's alleged involvement with Gang 24.
