Groups call for MACC probe into RM2.3bil Splash takeover


PUTRAJAYA: Several groups have called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to probe an alleged “over-evaluation” in the Selangor government’s proposed takeover of Syarikat Penge­luar Air Selangor (Splash).

Pertubuhan Suara Rakyat Mar­haen (Suara) Malaysia adviser Zamil Ibrahim said this was because the RM2.3bil assessment by Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali was a far cry from the RM260mil made by his predecessor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
