Monitor tree safety, councils told


IPOH: All 15 local councils have been told to do a check on trees following recent incidents of uprooted trees that crushed vehicles and killed a woman in the city.

Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the local authorities had been directed to take the necessary precautions and continuously monitor the situation to ensure the trees did not endanger the public.
