Federal Court strikes out prosecution appeal against Khairuddin, Chang's Sosma case

PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has allowed the application by Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan and his lawyer Matthias Chang to strike out two notice of appeals by the prosecution against the decision of the Court of Appeal.

This means that both Khairuddin and Chang cannot be tried under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 or Sosma for allegedly attempting to sabotage the banking and financial services.
