Kota Baru High Court rules Pos Belatim is native customary land

KOTA BARU: The High Court here has ordered the Kelantan Government to gazette 9,361ha of land in Pos Belatim as an orang asli reserve within the next six months.

In a landmark ruling, Justice Datuk Zainal Azman Abdul Aziz said the state erred in its decision six years ago to allocate part of the customary land of the Temiars for the proposed Ladang Rakyat project.
