PETALING JAYA: It’s all about pursuing the best that life has to offer.

That’s the theme of the latest issue of Life Inspired.

It features the latest offerings from jeweller and watchmaker Cartier. The collection was shown at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva, Switzerland, recently.

In the People section, DeGem executive director Stephen Choong talks about the importance of education and awareness when it comes to buying diamonds, as well as why the jewellery business has deep meaning for him.

“My business is about providing an avenue for people to feel good, to experience joy when they find a piece of jewellery that they love,” he said.

In the Trends section, read about Italian accessories brand Furla celebrating its 90th anniversary and the unveiling of its Fall/Winter 2017 collection of shoes and bags at the Milan Fashion Week.

The collection evokes feelings of nostalgia for fashion through the decades, starting from the 1920s when the brand was founded.

Creative director Fabio Fusi also shares his thoughts on why the brand is a fashionista favourite.

If you’re curious to know what famous chefs crave as snacks, check out the Savour pages – even char kuay teow made it to the list.

Finally, for a holiday idea, consider outer space.

After all, Elon Musk’s SpaceX is making preparations to send tourists to the moon next year. You’ll have to have a great deal of money, of course.

The article in the Travel pages will let you know what to look forward to when it comes to going all the way up.
