Bukit Aman sending team to Thailand to look into drug kingpin’s operations


KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman will work closely with its Thai counterparts to gather more intelligence on the suspected Malaysian drug trafficker dubbed “Mr T”, its narcotics investigation chief said.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said Thai authorities have informed the department of Mr T’s arrest, which took place at the Haadyai airport at about 3.30pm on Wednesday.
