PUTRAJAYA: Seri Setia assemblyman Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad has withdrawn his appeal against a High Court decision dismissing his application to strike out a charge against him in relation to the Black 505 rally four years ago.

Nik Nazmi's counsel Louis Liaw Vern Xien informed a three-man Court of Appeal panel chaired by Justice Mohd Zawawi Salleh that the appeal would be withdrawn as his client had already pleaded guilty to the charge under the Peaceful Assembly Act.
