KUALA LUMPUR: Perak deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Hasnan Hassan will be the new Perak police chief, replacing Comm Datuk Seri Abdul Rahim Hanafi who has been transfered to the Federal Management Department.
Inspector-General of Police secretariat corporate communications chief SAC Asmawati Ahmad said DCP Hasnan would be promoted to the rank of Commissioner.
