Indonesian splashed with toxic liquid by acquaintance

PETALING JAYA: An Indonesian factory worker was splashed with a liquid believed to be acid on her face by her acquaintance who later committed suicide at his home.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the 31-year-old woman was walking along Jalan 9A/12 in Sungei Way to her workplace at about 6.30am on Monday when the suspect rode past her on a red motorcycle and threw the liquid on her face.
