The Indonesians, aged between 19 and 39, were detained Tuesday night for soliciting at the night market area here.

SIBU: Police continued their offensive against vice here and arrested 17 more foreign women — 10 Indonesians and seven Vietnamese — during Ops Noda which entered its second day here.

The Indonesians, aged between 19 and 39, were detained Tuesday night for soliciting at the night market area here.

The women were operating from a nearby budget hotel.

The 66-year-old owner of the hotel was also nabbed for investigation.

The police team then proceeded to a reflexology centre where the seven Vietnamese women were nabbed.

Two of the women were performing oral sex on their clients when police came in.

OCPD Asst Comm Saiful Bahari said the Indonesians are in remand for investigation under the Immigration Act 1959/63 and the Vietnamese under the Penal Code for vice activities.

On Monday, a foreign woman was half naked when police raided a massage centre during the same operation that netted three Vietnamese and a Chinese national.

It was the second time the centre in Jalan Tuanku Osman was raided for vice activities.
