PETALING JAYA: When classmates of the late veteran journalist Soo Ewe Jin heard that a scholarship fund was being set up under his name to support new talent in journalism, they quickly rallied behind the cause.
One of Soo’s childhood friends, Saw Thiam Hin, contacted their classmates at the Penang Free School (PFS) 1976/78 batch to chip in.
