Socso comes down hard on errant employers

KUALA LUMPUR: A nationwide operation is being carried out by the Social Security Organisation (Socso) to clamp down on employers who have yet to register their workers with the organisation.

The operation - codenamed Ops Kesan Perkeso Kebangsaan - kicked off on April 1, and 478 compounds totalling RM330,000 have been issued against errant employers since then.
