Girl drowns in hotel pool after attending UPSR camp

SUNGAI PETANI: An exciting one-day UPSR camp at a hotel here turned tragic after one of its 12-year-olds drowned in the swimming pool.

The girl, Nor Al Ya Zafirah Mohd Fazlan from SK Khir Johari, attended the camp organised by her school and went for a swim with her friends after the camp ended.
