PETALING JAYA: The parliamentary debate on PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang's Private Member's Bill has resumed after a lunch break.

The debate over the Bill, which aims to enhance the powers of the Syariah courts, resumed at 2.30pm on Thursday with Kota Baru MP Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan (pic) refuting claims that the Bill is unconstitutional.
