KUANTAN: A farmer and a flower grower from Cameron Highlands have been charged with giving and offering bribes to enforcement officers during Ops Gading in 2015. Chan Kok Fong, 40, and Law Hee Thiam, 38, both claimed trial to the charges before Sessions Court judge Habibah Mohamed Yusof here on Thursday.
Law, a vegetable farmer, was charged with giving a bribe of RM15,000 to a National Security Council (NSC) officer as an inducement not to clear his illegal farm in the Gunung Siku forest reserve.
